Fried Sardines

(For this recipe choose the tiny Sardine (about 4 cms long). Fry well till it becomes crunchy. Enjoy eating it without removing bones.)

1 kg (32 oz) tiny sardines, cleaned
1 tbls salt
lemon wedges
1 cup vegetable oil
(use another cup if necessary)
Rub sardines with salt. Put aside for 10 minutes until the salt is absorbed. Fry in hot oil over medium heat, in batches, till brown. Remove with a slotted spoon.
Serve hot with lemon wedges.
